Collection:
The Upper
School Library holds a collection of almost 9000 books, reference sources,
videos and DVDs, 50 magazine and newspaper subscriptions, and a wide
selection of subscription research databases. We have 8 desktop and 6 laptop
computers for use in the library.
Circulation:
Books may be checked out by
Upper and Middle School Students, all GCS Faculty and Staff, and any US
parent that sets up an account with a librarian.
Fiction and Non-fiction may be
checked out for 3 weeks. Reference books and Class reserves may be
checked out overnight (due at the beginning of school the next day.
Cameras may be checked out overnight by US Students and Faculty for
class purposes. Patrons provide their own tapes.
Periodicals are for
in-library use.
Patrons will be billed for
any items not returned by the end of the school year.
